Moveroo uses partner fit checks to help match the job to the right service option. It is not a guarantee that nothing can change, but it creates a clearer starting point.

Quote Clarity

What can change during a move.

Quotes are clearest when the moving variables are clear up front. These details can change timing, effort, provider fit or final requirements.

Before You Pay A Deposit

A quick checklist before you commit.

Once a collection date is confirmed and a suitable provider is allocated, a 25% deposit is paid to Moveroo to secure the booking. After that, Moveroo books the job with the allocated provider.

A 48-hour cooling-off period applies after the deposit is paid. The remaining balance is due no later than collection, with the payment method confirmed before the booking is finalised.

Date and provider fit are confirmed

A deposit is not the first step. The collection date and a suitable provider should be confirmed before the booking is secured.

You pay a 25% deposit to Moveroo

The deposit secures the booking and lets Moveroo book the job with the allocated provider.

A 48-hour cooling-off period applies

During this period, the deposit may be refunded if you choose to cancel. After that, the cancellation policy explains when deposits are non-refundable.

The balance payment is confirmed before collection

The remaining balance is due no later than collection. Depending on the provider, the team confirms whether the balance is paid to Moveroo or another approved way.

Inventory, vehicle condition or freight details are accurate
Access notes cover stairs, lifts, long carries and parking
Extra stops, storage, packing or special handling are included
Deposit, balance-payment timing and cancellation rules are understood
Any cover information has been reviewed before committing

Inventory Flexibility

Fair changes work best when they are caught early.

Small inventory changes are common. Larger changes can affect volume, equipment, timing or partner fit, so Moveroo encourages an inventory check about one week before the move where possible.

Cover details depend on the service.

Cover, liability and claim details can differ by service type and provider. Where a provider includes or describes provider-supplied cover, Moveroo can share the factual information available for the quoted service before booking so you can review what applies.

Moveroo does not provide, arrange, sell or advise on insurance. Customers who want broader protection should arrange third-party cover separately before moving. This page is a plain-language summary, not legal or insurance advice.
