Cancellation and refund guide
48-hour cooling-off period
Customers are entitled to a 48-hour cooling-off period from the time their payment is made. During this period, a deposit may be refunded if the customer chooses to cancel their move. After this 48-hour cooling-off period, the deposit is non-refundable if the customer cancels for reasons unrelated to any action, fault or failure by Moveroo.
What happens next
- We review the request and confirm the booking details.
- We contact you by email with the outcome.
- Any approved refund is processed after confirmation.
Deposits
After the 48-hour cooling-off period has passed, deposits are non-refundable where the customer cancels the move for reasons unrelated to any action, fault or failure by Moveroo.
If collection cannot go ahead
If a collection cannot proceed as scheduled because Moveroo or one of its service providers is unavailable on the requested date, the customer will be offered either a full refund or the next available collection date.
Postponing your move
If you need to postpone your move, you will not be charged a cancellation fee for the original move date, provided the move is less than 7 days away. Please note that the original price cannot always be held for the new date. Any price change is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
